Mughlai cuisine represents a cooking style originally used in Northern India (in places such as Uttar Pradesh and Delhi). Though it also appears in Indian cities of Bhopal and Hyderabad.

The flavors of Mughlai cuisine are largely influenced by Central Asia. The dishes are milder than normal Indian curries and feature heavy use of fragnant spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves, along with rich nut pastes and heavy cream. The sabzis and curries are quite rich, with lots of dry fruits, spices and dairy products.

Laccha Parathas are a Mughlai delicacy made with Whole Wheat Flour. As the name indicate, the Parathas have strands within circle. Mughlai Biryani (a regal dish) is considered fit for a king and was probably eaten by many too. The recipe combines ingredient typical in the Mughlai style of cooking – it’s a perfect one-dish meal to have.
